The mod has been requested by mr-tom in the mod request thread (http://forum.citiesxl.com/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=1163).
The mod is compatible with all other mods.

Description

This mod adds a new wind turbine to the utilities menu. Here is what's different from the regular wind turbine available in the game:

- It can only be built on water
- It produces 20% more electricity than a regular wind turbine due to being at sea where wind is stronger
- It costs twice as much to build
- It does not require a road connection

Updated 14/04/2011

Installation
Download the file below and copy it into the Cities XL 2011 paks folder (default location: C:\Program Files\Focus Home Interactive\Cities XL 2011\paks)
Then start the game as usual. The mod will be loaded automatically. Delete the mod in case it makes the game crash while loading (I never had that problem).

根据上面的英文原文说：

It produces 20% more electricity than a regular wind turbine due to being at sea where wind is stronger。

这大概是说：
因为海风的强度比一般的风力大些，所以发电量比一般陆地上的风力发电机多20%。。。

还有其他的大概是说：

- It can only be built on water
- It costs twice as much to build
- It does not require a road connection

1）可以建在水上。
2）建费是陆地上的风力发电机大约两倍。
3）不需要道路连接。
