Loosely based on the Darley Towers in Boulder, CO. Part of the University of Colorado's Williams Village residential complex. The real Darley towers are a slightly different shape and are grouped into twin-units (six towers total). However, they are similar in appearence and style. On this lot, I have added the huge quantities of solar panels to denote that this is a "bright green" development. Or high-density development designed to rely less on the city's utility grid by using modular renewable energy. This building doesn't *actually* use less energy than a regular building of it's size as far as the simulation is concerned, of course. It just looks like it, so you'll have to use your imagination a bit.
I may do a growable version of this, maybe. There are some known issues with a few very minor texture errors. Unforetunately, my computer violently corrupted the gmax file after rendering and export, so I am unable to go back and fix several of them for a while.
So here is what I was able to salvage. Please rate and comment. |
