Change language from Eng > Cht

I have Simcity 4 english would like change to Cht (trad)
anything i can do for it?

but in regedit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>MAXIS>SIMCITY>1.0
The language DWORD is 0x00000012(18) LanguageName is Chinese (Traditional)
but the menu and all still english??

mate, do you have T Chinese folder under your game manu and the correct SimcityLocale.dat file?

change the registration just dossn't work if you don't have that.

create a new folder and rename as “TChinese”. and put the “simcitylocal.dat” file into the new folder.

i just cant type chinese in here.
大鲸鱼 & jordan415: thank you so much, however after i follow your instruction then open the game, all news (notice board) show at bottom are not display any chinese character but pop up windows can show chinese...?!

I had the same situation as yours.
But I solved it eventually by REGEDIT the following codes, plus with the proper SimCityLocale.DAT.
1.HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Maxis\\SimCity 4 Language should be "Chinese (Traditonal) "
2.HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Maxis\\SimCity 4\\1.0 LanguageName should be "Chinese (Traditonal) "
3.HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Maxis\\SimCity 4\\1.0 Language should be "0x00000012 "
Make sure the above 3 codes to be exactly same. The the news can be display in Chinese Traditional.

Copy the TChinese file to your installation of SimCity folder,Then click on the registration.
