Let us tell you about: GEMs
Gameplay Extension Modules (or GEMs) are well-named: they are fully independent Tycoon games.
- Enhance your gaming experience by switching your Mayor's sash for a CEO's business suit.
- Use complete kits to build up a large company in a field that you are particularly interested in.
- It's up to you to do what it takes to make your new company as profitable as possible and turn it into a true blue chip success story.
Each new GEM will give you the chance to further enhance your gaming experience by featuring renewed gameplay and new challenges, in-depth management options such as micro-management, and lots of new content.
You will be able to recreate existing companies or to create and establish your own brand.
让我为你们介绍：GEMs
全称为游戏扩展模组，它们是完全独立的TYCOON GAMES大亨游戏。
1.经常把你的市长小皮带和CEO的商务西服换着穿穿来提高你的游戏经验（这句话很雷人，德语版本直译是市长的椅子和大企业的办公桌转换，貌似含义是既要从政也要会从商？既然提到TYCOON大亨类游戏，估计是这个意思）
2.在你特别感兴趣的领域里，你可以用完整的工具去建立一个大企业。
3.如何让你的新企业盈利并取得成功决定于你自己。
每个新的GEM都会给你机会通过富有特色的新的玩法，新的挑战，深层经营手段的选择（如微观管理）以及大量新的内容去提高你的游戏经验
你将会重新打造一个已经存在的破企业或者建立你的企业帝国。（感觉象在教大家如何做企业）
Example: tourist GEMsTourism can generate considerable revenue if you offer attractions and services, which meet all your clients' needs.
Tourists have varying profiles and therefore different needs and satisfaction levels:
- They have big and small budgets for what they all hope will be their dream vacation, and they also plan stays of different lengths.
- They may be sporty, lovers of fine food, enjoy social activities, or be big-spenders... make sure you offer paying activities to meet their needs!

And you, what will your GEM be like?While most of the following elements appear in the original version of CITIES XL, the GEMs will offer you more detailed management options for these fields. For example,
- Agricultural, mining, and oil companies
- Leisure companies: amusement parks, zoos, theme parks
There are a great number of themes that can be expanded on and each new GEM will be developed with great enthusiasm: we hope that you will share our enthusiasm! Drawing on feedback from the players, we will adapt the selection of GEMs to suit your expectations and wishes!
The possibilities, evolution, and expansion of a next-gen city builder like CITIES XL are infinite both in the Single-player and Planet Offer modes. Indeed, as is the case with CITIES XL in general, building your companies in Planet Offer mode will provide you with new resources to trade with other players – but we'll go into that in another blog entry
就是你，别动，你想要什么样的GEM？
在大部分所述元素出现在原版CITIES XL里时，GEM会在这些方面给你更多的详细的经营选择，你只要作出选择，you are the one!。打个比方
1 地主，煤老板，或者石油贩子
2 不务正业公司，逗你玩公园，动物园，主题公园

感觉真的有点大亨类游戏加模拟类的组合。说的我到十分想玩的，玩惯了SM4只控制大局的模式，没想到市长也可以自己做点生意了，莫非是国企？爽哉
